Assuming that you plan to visit us by air, you will probably use one of the airports that have the most accessible connections to our destination.
Patras Airport (GPA) / Araxos AirportDistance: approximately 40 km from Selianitika. - This airport is mainly used for domestic flights and some international charter flights.
Athens International Airport (ATH) Distance: approximately 180 km from Selianitika. - It is the largest airport in Greece with a wide range of international and domestic flights.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the airport to the center of Athens From the airport in Athens you can use the metro (line M3, blue line) direction "Agia Marina" Get off at Syntagma station (centre of Athens) where you can change to other means of transport. From Athens to Patras (Patra) From Athens to Patras (the largest city near Selianitika) you can go by train or bus: Train: Ttrains leave from the main station Athens Railway Station (Larissa Station)*.The trip takes approximately 2.5-3 hours. bus: KTEL buses run from Kifissos Bus Station in Athens to Patras. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. From Patras to Selianitika you will need a *bus* or a taxi: Local KTEL buses run from Patras to the surrounding villages, including Selianitika. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Taxi: If you prefer a more comfortable journey, a taxi will take you directly to Selianitika.

Car rental
Car rental If you want more flexibility, you can rent a car at Athens Airport. Selianitika is approximately 180 km from Athens and takes about 2-2.5 hours by highway. Car rental offices are located in the arrival hall of the airport, usually in the Arrivals Hall area. I recommend that you book your car in advance online to ensure better prices and car availability. Tips for renting a car in Greece: 1. Driving license: You need a valid international driving license (if you do not have an EU license). 2. Age: The minimum age to rent a car is usually 21 years old, some companies may charge a surcharge for drivers under 25 years old. 3. Insurance: Check if insurance is included in the price or pay extra for comprehensive coverage. 4. Fuel: You usually get a car with a full tank and you have to return it with a full tank as well.
Parking
Secure parking is available near the accommodation, which provides peace and comfort for guests. The parking area is well lit, monitored by a camera system and possibly protected by security personnel to ensure maximum vehicle protection. Thus, guests can be sure that their car is safe throughout their stay. Parking is easily accessible and is located in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, which facilitates the transport of luggage and comfortable arrival and departure.
